IMPACT
IMPACT: A Tool for Transcribing and Commenting on Oral Data, for Teaching, Learning, and Research.
The development of IMPACT began in 2011 with the goal of helping students, teachers, and researchers to share, transcribe, and comment on audio/video data without having to experience complicated software installation, regular overlap of windows, or strong versioning. IMPACT is designed to generate multimodal web pages that bring together — ergonomically and systematically — the relevant items (audio/video source, transcript, annotations). These pages can be remotely accessed and edited, but also displayed by a beamer during on-site teaching.
