Hethitologie-Portal Mainz

Project logo

The Hethitologie-Portal Mainz (HPM) is a digital research infrastructure for Hittitology and related fields of study. HPM provides research materials, such as text sources (e.g., critical editions of Hittite cuneiform texts), reproductions (e.g., photographs and 3D models), databases (e.g., manuscript catalogues and bibliographies), and research literature. Within the framework of national and international collaborations, data collections and text editions are processed and prepared for their web-based presentation. HPM fosters cooperation, connects source materials and databases, and develops new methods and possibilities of research at the intersection between Ancient Near Eastern Studies, Historical Linguistics, Digital Humanities, and Computer Sciences.
