Flooding in the Low Countries 1570-1588

This exhibit provides a brief account of the natural and military inundations during the Dutch Wars of Independence. Along with providing a general overview of the nature of the inundations, it examines the strategic floods during the encounters at Brill, Alkmaar, Leiden, and Antwerp.
