The ADHO steering committee, based on propositions by the EADH steering committee, has appointed as Program Committee co-Chairs DH2019 Elena Pierazzo and Fabio Ciotti. Below are short bios and profiles of their careers. ADHO thanks them warmly for their engagement in this important service for our community.

Fabio Ciotti
Fabio is tenured Assistant Professor at the University of Roma Tor Vergata, where he teaches Digital Literary Studies and Theory of Literature. He is President of the Associazione per l'Informatica Umanistica e la Cultura Digitale (AIUCD, the Italian Digital Humanities Association), member of the EADH (European Association of Digital Humanities) Executive Board and of the ADHO Steering Committee. He has served in the TEI Consortium Technical Council. He is also co-head of the European ERIC DARIAH-EU VCC-4, and member of DARIAH-IT.

Elena Pierazzo
Elena is professor of Italian Studies and Digital Humanities at the University of Grenoble-Alpes, and visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Digital Humanities at King's College, London. She was a member of the TEI Council from 2007 to 2011 and Chair of the TEI Board of Directors from 2012 to 2014. She is a member of the Board of the European Society for Textual Scholarship from 2015 to 2019. Previously she was lecturer in Digital Humanities at King’s College London.
