Aurélien Berra is Assistant Professor at Paris-Ouest University (Department of Greek and Latin Languages and Literatures), where he teaches Rhetoric, Ancient Greek literature and Digital Humanities. He is in charge of the seminar “Digital Humanities. Les transformations numériques du rapport aux savoirs” (EHESS, Paris). His special interest in classical philology and digital textual scholarship stems from his work on the Greek author Athenaeus. Philologie à venir is the companion blog to these projects.
Aurélien is also involved in Hypotheses, a blogging platform for the Human and Social Sciences, in DARIAH’s VCC2 “Research and Education”, as the contact person for France and co-head of the task “Community Engagement”, and in Humanistica, the French-speaking association of digital humanities, as a member of the coordinating committee.
