CfP: Open Resources #dariahTeach closing conference

#dariahTeach, an Erasmus+ funded project, invites proposals for papers and presentations for the project’s final closing conference in Lausanne 22-23 March 2017.

#dariahTeach (dariah.eu/teach), an Erasmus + Strategic Partnership,  invites proposals for their final conference to be held at the University of Lausanne on 23-24 March 2017. The goal of #dariahTeach is to develop open-source, high quality, multilingual teaching materials for the digital arts and humanities. A further objective of the project is to strengthen alliances and foster innovative teaching and learning practices among members of the DARIAH network.

This conference follows the DARIAH-funded workshop on Open Education (22-23 March 2017). Both are supported by ADHO, EADH, and Humanistica. The #dariahTeach team invites all scholars working on open education and open resources to submit an abstract by 10th November 2016 25 of November 2016.

We welcome abstracts (500 words + references) for papers (15minutes) focused on:

  • Challenges in open education and open resources
  • Combining classroom teaching and online teaching
  • Building DH undergraduate and MA degrees online
  • Online resources and sustainability challenges

We also welcome abstracts of 300 words for short demonstrations (5-7 minutes) of a project or a tool bringing new digital resources for education.

Abstracts, along with a short CV, should be sent to claire.clivaz@sib.swiss by 10th November 2016 25 of November 2016. All applicants will be notified by 1 December. Proposals will be evaluated by the Co-PIs of the #dariahTeach: Susan Schreibman, Agiati Benardou, Claire Clivaz, Matej Durco, Marianne Huang, Stef Scagliola and Toma Tasovac.
