Elena Spadini
Elena Spadini is a post-doc researcher at the University of Lausanne, where she works on the FNS project 'Gustave Roud, Œuvres complètes'. She has been a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow in the ITN DiXiT, based at the Huygens Institute (NL), pursuing scholarly digital editions as regard the scientific and technical aspects. She holds a PhD in Romance Philology from the University of Rome, and studied at the École nationale des Chartes and at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Her research interests include medieval studies, textual criticism, digital humanities and the history of these disciplines. She organized several workshops on scholarly editing and digital techniques and is active as a reviewer for international journals and conferences.
Elena directs with Sonia Tempestini the project La 'Commedia' di Boccaccio. Investigare la varia lectio. She collaborates with Laboratorio Monaci, Lexicon of Scholarly Editing, Fontegaia.
